Neighborhood Chili Cook-off Winner Recipe

The perfect hearty meal for the cozy spooky season that has approached. There is a reason this recipe has won chili competitions, and I finally wrote the recipe down! Enjoy

Equipment

  • Dutch Oven or large deep soup pot

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 1/2 Onion diced
  • 1 tbsp Macadamia Nut Oil
  • 1 1/2 Bottle Bottle of Cumin Spice
  • 2 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Himalayan Salt (pink sea salt)
  • 2 lbs 100% Grass Fed Ground Beef
  • 2 cans Kidney Beans
  • 1 can Black Beans
  • 1 1/2 Jar Spice Arrabiata Organic 365 Sauce
  • 1 Jar Organic Italian Herb Tomato Sauce
  • Sour Cream (topping optional)
  • 100% Grass Fed Raw Shredded Cheddar (topping optional)

Instructions
 

In a large pot :

  • 6 crushed garlic closed and 1/2 large diced onion in macadamia nut oil.
  • Add 1/2 bottle of ground cumin, 2 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tbsp Himalayan salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Add 2 pounds of 100% grass fed ground beef and mix into sautéed onion and garlic mixture.
  • Add 2 cans of kidney beans, and 1 can of black beans.
  • Taste the mixture before adding tomato sauce and correct spices if needed.
  • Add 1/2 jar of spicy arrabiata organic 365 sauce and one entire jar of organic italian herb tomato sauce.
  • Simmer for half hour and serve with sour cream and or shredded 100% grass fed raw cheddar cheese.
