Mi casa es su casa. Welcome!

Over the years it has become abundantly clear that people are more comfortable in a homey environment. Years ago I was able to offer my patients a choice; they could come to a gorgeous office in the heart of Montgomery, or they could come to my home office.  Invariably, they chose the home office. Even those who lived in Montgomery! When I asked why, the response was consistently one having to do with comfort. In other words, they felt at home and that  made treatment easier for them. Less intimidating perhaps. This was such a strong trend that I ultimately gave up the Montgomery office and today I just see patients in my home. 

P.S. Every once in a while, a patient needs help learning how to cook or s/he just wants the comfort of another human being when it comes to eating. We can do that too 🙂
